 Advanced CAD Technology is able to provide a cost effective and efficient design, detailing and releasing service for customers and are able to comply with the standards and processes dictated by the major automotive OEM’s.  We have staff fully trained in Catia and I-DEAS along with experience of the automotive OEM CAD data managment tolls such as Teamcenter and VPM. We have experience in BIW, Interior and exterior trim and hardware, fixturing and tooling.

Contract CAD Staffing

Advanced CAD Technology is able to supply Computer Aided Design staff on short and long term contracts.  Design resource can comprise of a Design Engineer and also a CAD workstation if required.  We are able provide most of the CAD systems utilised in the automotive and aerospace industries and can integrate the systems into a customers own network.

Data Translation Services
Advanced CAD Technology can carry out data translation services between most of the CAD systems deployed in product design.  Translation is carried out using bespoke (direct) translators or using the common translation formats such as Step, Iges and SAT.

We can handle anything from a large scale fixed price translation project down to single file translations and operate a secure internet data exchange system to ensure the whole translation process is carried out as efficiently as possible.
